In fact, our story starts even before our 2008 launch, and is born from dreaming big on the playground where our co-founders, Jack Newton and Rian Gauvreau, met.

We move into a fully remote workforce due to Covid-19, and launch our Distributed by Design model. We continue to have one of the best years on record.
We reopen our Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary and Dublin offices! We take a hybrid approach through our Distributed by Design model.

As a team we are distributed by design with an intentional hybrid approach to our mindset and our infrastructure. We balance the benefits of in-person connectivity and the flexibility of remote work.
We're more connected than ever, and united by our mission: to transform the legal experience for all.
We also announce our Series E, with a new valuation of $1.6B USD, marking us as the first legal practice management unicorn globally.
